The regular health review/planning summit was held on 22nd July 2010. German Development Corporation (GDC) participated in the Summit as a key development partner in the Kenyan health sector and was represented by the Sector Coordinator, Dr. Klaus Hornetz.
During the Planning Summit, the following documents were disseminated:
- Annual Operation Plan 6 ( 2010 /2011)
- Annual Operation Plan 4 (2008 / 2009) review report.
New sector wide approach (SWAP) stakeholders signed the code of conduct during the Summit, and have been welcomed as new members of the Health Sector Coordinating Committee.

A remarkable progress is that, AOP 4 review for the first time of the SWAP process contains health sector performance data by urban/ non- urban regions, by Arid and non -Arid regions, by gender equity, literacy and poverty levels.
