On 28th February USAID and GDC will host the fifth installment of the SWAp seminar series. Due to the complexity of issues discussed in Module 4 this seminar will be broken into two parts.
This seminar will look at policy and strategy development in the context of the SWAp (this time based on the Kenya health sector policy!), harmonization, performance monitoring, financing issues and a summary of aid instruments. From 1200-1230pm, discussions will be on the health sector policy which very few people in the Seminar had read before. Since this is one of the foundation documents for a SWAp, the group decided it would be in their best interest to review it!
Following this discussion the group will begin the module 4 program.
