Joint Gender Based Violence Workshop
The German Development Cooperation (GDC) in Health will on July 8, 2010 hold a Gender Based Violence (GBV) workshop at Lenana House Conference and Training Centre, Nairobi. The workshop will draw participants from GDC health sector personnel (KFW, DED, GTZ, INWENT) involved in strategic GBV planning and implementation.

Kenya to Host the Launch of African Women’s Decade for 2010-2020
Kenya will this year host the launch of African Women’s Decade (2010-2020) that will take place from 10th to 15th October, 2010. Kenya was chosen by the African Union from among 53 African Union member States to host this launch. Kenya in 1985 hosted the UN Decade for women.
